Business Conduct Examples of non-conformance include any dishonest and/or unethical behavior, the unethical handling of actual and apparent conflicts of interest, falsification of documentation, not making disclosures required by the Code, not being in compliance with laws, rules and regulations, not promptly and properly reporting violations of the Code.
Employment Practices In compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, we confirm the importance of respect for the individual, ensure equality of treatment and exclude any form of discrimination. Examples of nonconforming acts include harassment, retaliation, unfair employment acts and general personnel conflicts.
External Relationships Display of lack of customer service or courtesy that impacts the Company's relationship with clients, vendors, residents, etc. This also includes concerns around quality of service, for example food quality, cleanliness of facility, etc.
Health, Safety & Environment Any condition which appears to be hazardous or unsanitary to the well-being of an employee, customer, facility, or general public. This includes OSHA concerns, the abuse of alcohol, or any illegal or legal drug in the workplace or being used while at work, and workplace violence or threats.
Policy Compliance Any departure from company policy or procedures, including but not limited to Leaves of Absence, Health Insurance disputes, Vacation/Holiday/Sick time questions or concerns (Note: this does not include missing pay or wage disputes - those should be assigned to "Wage and Hour" Issue Type.
Wage & Hour Any departure from existing labor laws or concerns over hours or wages. This includes but is not limited to the following examples: Employees being asked or required to work overtime without the appropriate compensation, Employees not paid for the work they have performed, Employees being paid less than minimum wage, Deductions/Garnishment concerns.
